Chocolate Truffle Love Bites

Bite sized balls of love.

CHOCOLATE! It was the most natural next step to take in creating a new love bites flavour. It might be predictable but these little chocolately balls of goodness are too good not to share with you.

They are sugar-free, gluten-free, dairy-free... guilt-free! Packed with healthy fats to keep you satisfied. I love these with a nice cup of tea in the afternoon or as a treat after dinner. YUM!

Chocolate Truffle Love Bites
Makes 10

  • 6 medjool dates (pitted)
  • 1/4 cup hazelnuts
  • 1/4 cup cashews
  • 3 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder or raw cacao
  • 1 tsp water

  • Place all ingredients except for water into a food processor and blend until a crumbly mixture forms.
  • Add 1 teaspoon (and no more!) of water to the mixture and continue to blend. This will help the mixture stick together.
  • Scoop out about a tablespoon at a time and roll into balls.
  • Place in the freezer for around an hour and you're done!
  • These will keep in the fridge for about a week and months in the freezer.
