When life hands you lemons...

...make lemonade! ...or iced tea!?

London is heating UP! And if there's one thing everyone should be doing it's drinking lots of water. But sometimes the same old thing can get a bit boring. If you're like me and love your herbal tea, iced herbal teas make a delicious addition to your water intake.

Ginger Lemonade
The comination of the lemon and ginger makes a zingy refreshing lemonade.

Makes 2 cups

Ingredients:

  • 500mL filtered water
  • Two lemon and ginger tea bags
  • Juice of half a lemon
  • Stevia to taste

Directions
  • Boil water
  • Place the two lemon and ginger tea bags in a large cup (or something that will hold 500mL of hot water)
  • Let it sit for at least 30mins
  • Place in the fridge and allow to chill
  • Once chilled add in the lemon juice and stevia to taste (I used 15 drops of liquid stevia)
  • Enjoy!

There you have it, a refreshing way to increase your water intake. You can try so many different flavours, any tea you can think of. You can also double or even triple this recipe and make a huge pitcher to keep in the fridge.

Get guzzling!
